ORAL HISTORIES

The Comox Archives and Museum possesses a number of oral history tapes made by early residents describing various aspects of life in Comox.

Four of these recordings are available below.  The people interviewed were Betty Longland describing the history of Longlands Golf Course, Dona Cameron and Curly Hamilton on growing up in Comox from the 1920’s to the 1950’s and Duke Warren, Air Force veteran.

Please enjoy listening to these recollections of life in early Comox.
